On-Campus and Zoom Discussion: 5 - 6 pm

We will hold a screening of the film on campus followed by a hybrid in-person and on-Zoom discussion. If you cannot attend the screening, you can watch the film on your own and join the discussion on Zoom.


 


Watch the Film Before the Discussion

Join our on-campus screening of the film on Tuesday, March 26, at 3 pm in the Library Viewing Room.

Watch the film on Kanopy: SBVC faculty, staff, and students have access to all Kanopy films. Instructions are in the Kanopy box on this page and on our Film Research Guide.

We encourage students to watch the films and join the discussions.

We encourage instructors are encouraged to offer extra credit or another incentive for student participation.


Flex Time

Faculty can submit 3 hours of flex time for viewing the film and attending the discussion.

Kanopy

Click on Browse (at the top of the website) for a drop-down menu of subject areas and types of films.

Use Search for titles, topics, and types of films.

Explore the links -- genres, tags, etc. -- at the bottom of each film to find like films.

Click the Share tab to link or embed a film in Canvas.

A note on Chromebooks and Kanopy: Not all films play on Chromebooks (the system is not currently supported).

Try downloading the Kanopy app from Google Play to view films.
