MLA and APA Templates

Microsoft Word and Google Drive have MLA and APA templates. These are very helpful for setting up your paper, but they are not always completely accurate. Check your paper format, citations, and references against MLA and APA style guides. Also, always check the assignment's instructions.

Word Templates

When you open a new Microsoft Word document, do not choose "blank." Instead, scroll down or search (top, right-hand corner) for APA Style or MLA Style.

Microsoft Office also offers MLA and APA Word templates for download.

Google Templates

1. In Google Drive, click on +New:

2. From the drop-down menu, click on Google Docs, click on the arrow, and then click From a template.
